Evangelism and Mission
The Holy Spirit called the Church to be ambassadors of Christ Jesus, and to share the essential work of reconciling a lost world back to God through the gift of grace and mercy. The Church is therefore tasked to participate in strategic plans to identify souls who are lost, and to reach those souls with the gospel message of salvation and hope. The Church leadership is also responsible for teaching the members how to be effective soul winners. Bible Class lessons and special workshops are to be planned and conducted such that students are taught effective principles of leading a non-believer to Christ. Members of the Church are to be encouraged to be personally responsible for winning souls for Jesus. The mission of the Church is to preach the gospel to the whole world. Therefore, the goals and vision of the Church to reach the lost should extend when possible to the lost souls beyond the local geographic area where the Church is located. Plans and programs of the Church should include support for evangelistic mission work abroad when the need is made known and available resources are present.

Worship
We desire to have a deep personal and congregational relationship with God. In order to fulfill this desire, we will teach and model personal and corporate worship. We will not allow tradition to inhibit any Biblical expressions towards God. We will facilitate meaningful corporate praise and worship.

Bible
As members of Forest Hill , we desire to hold and teach Biblical truth with complete integrity. We will teach and model the Word faithfully in our classes and from the pulpit; teach and model how to study the Bible; teach and model how to teach the Bible; encourage small group Bible studies; teach all ages how to apply the Biblical teaching, with an understanding that we are only as strong as the Word of God living in us.

Prayer
Prayer is the expression of man's dependence upon God for all things. We are aware of the power of prayer. The scriptures teach us how and what to pray for. We want to always practice prayer in our personal life, family life, and in our public worship to God.

Accountability
Although each of us are individuals, we are closely tied to one another through the invisible bond of the blood of Christ. As a result, we share Christian Fellowship. We believe and teach that this fellowship causes us to be answerable to one another. We will uphold the responsibility to be our brother's keeper and to report our whereabouts prior to being absent from any scheduled assembly of the saints of the Church of Christ in Forest Hill. We will, un-failingly, model our accountability to our leaders and fellow Christians.
